I only scrolled through Wikipedia entry, and Baddies indeed seems to open some unusual perspectives, reframing the position of ethnicity of interest as oppressed group - contrary to the perception of "the Left".

While this inclusion might relax the hardened discourse, I believe that the problem of the Left is not in inclusion or exclusion of a certain group into their agenda - it is the agenda itself: the moralistic fallacy where suffering oppression is interpreted as moral virtue, a story borrowed from the marxist model of morally immaculate working class, and surely leaning on religious interpretations of empathy. I believe to remember a quote by GBShaw that states that being oppressed is not an accolade, which perfectly applies to todays competition between identities to appear the most oppressed.

In any case, complicated problems, like the current geopolitics, will not be resolved by unconditional taking side with the powerless or oppressed, whoever they are. On the contrary, taking sides can only multiply the bad blood, as we are witnessing lately in Europe.
